Advanced Placement® Courses
Georgia Virtual School currently offers the following Advanced Placement® courses during the fall and spring semesters. No AP courses are currently offered during the summer semester. During fall and spring semesters, AP courses are only offered on the 18, 16, 14 week schedules.

Free AP Practice Exams
In order to help all Georgia students more thoroughly prepare for the Advanced Placement® exams each spring, Georgia Virtual School offers free AP® practice exams for the following courses:
  • Art History
  • Biology 
  • Chemistry
  • Calculus AB
  • English Literature
  • Environmental Science
  • European History
  • Human Geography

  • Macroeconomics

  • Microeconomics

  • Physics B

  • Psychology

  • Statistics

  • U.S. Government

  • U.S. History

  • World History

Although not endorsed by the College Board, each practice exam gives students background information concerning the test, including time limits for each section, and a full list of vocabulary terms they should know. In addition, students have the ability to take a full practice exam and receive detailed feedback on their answer choices.

Non-GAVS students may register for these practice exams beginning March 1st and practice exams will be available through May 30th. The exams are free of charge to students, however you must be registered and have an account with Georgia Virtual School to gain access.
