Important Information
  • During the fall and spring semesters, private, home school and out of state students will be scheduled to take the EOCT at their assigned ETC. Public school students will be scheduled to take the EOCT at their local schools and should contact their school's facilitator for the date and time.
  • During the summer semester, public, private, home school and out of state  students will be scheduled to take the EOCT at their assigned ETC. Students will receive an email approximately three weeks prior to the EOCT that will include important details.

EOCT Reminders

DO bring:
    •     Photo ID or, if you don't have one, have a parent or guardian accompany you to the testing room to check in.
    •     Pencils
    •     Something to read if you finish the first section early. You will not be allowed to surf the Internet. Doing so will shut down your test.

DO NOT bring:
    •     A calculator (one will be provided)
    •     iPods, other MP3 players or portable video games

Cell phones must be put away and turned off at all times. The test will last for 2 hours.

EOCT Policy 
It is important to note that State Board of Education rule 160-4-2-.13 (STATEWIDE PASSING SCORE) requires 
that the EOCT serve as the final exam in courses that require the EOCT. Therefore, students, parents, and 
facilitators should ensure that this requirement is completed as part of any Georgia Virtual School course that 
requires an EOCT. The courses that require the EOCT are as follows:
  • 9th Lit/Comp
  • American Lit/Comp
  • Biology GPS
  • Algebra GPS
  • Geometry
  • Physical Science
  • Mathematics I
  • Mathematics II
  • Accelerated Mathematics I
  • Accelerated Mathematics II
  • US History
  • Economics
